Hi everyone, thanks for checking out our travel blog! In less than three weeks we'll leave Seattle for South America, and we'll make sure to stay in touch with everyone through this blog and share some pictures and stories from our trip.Our first stop will be Buenos Aires, Argentina. We're booked on a flight on November 16th from Seattle via Dallas, so let's keep our fingers crossed that everything will work out. Other than packing for the trip and saying farewell to friends and co-workers, we still need to move some items into storage, including our car. :-)
Our current plan is to stay in Buenos Aires for the first couple of weeks and learn some Spanish at the Academia Buenos Aires. Other than that, we're hoping to take Tango classes (embarassing pictures to come...), explore the nightlife (yes, even after 9pm), and just enjoy being away from work for an extended period of time.
Neither of us has been to South America yet, so if you have any advise or recommendations, please feel free to share. Some of our other planned destinations are Iguaçu Falls, Patagonia, and Villarica. But so far we're really flexible, our flight back to the U.S. will be on March 6th from Santiago/Chile.
